the brief

Visual imagery and design are, obviously, incredibly important to the team at Luck Design.  They wanted a video that could be screened at a film premiere but that could also be used on their website and also at exhibitions.  Bold, punchy and direct were top of the prioirty list, along with design that falls inline with their branding.  It was important to show off as much of their portfolio as possible to allow the viewer to understand the versatility of the team.

how we achieved this

After a consultation with the client, we came to understand what was important about their business.  Their work speaks for itself and so this was the main focus of the video; we agreed that the end viewer needs to understand their versatility and are not necessarily in need of video footage of the owner or indeed the offices.  We took a collection of LUCK's work, composed some music to reflect the different tones of work and messages being delivered, and brought it all together through animation to create a promotional advertisement that can be used on a number of different platforms.

There was no actual filming involved in this production, and due to the client being incredibly forthcoming with ideas, the actual animation production took less than a day.

the result

A bold, punchy, effective advertisement that can be used on big screens, small screens and on the LUCK website.  Alternatively, it can be used for commercial advertising due to it's direct nature.
